OUR BELIEFS
THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is the Word of God. It was inspired of God, making it inerrant,
and has been preserved throughout generations. As the Word of God, It is our only
and final authority, determining all doctrine in which we believe and guiding all
manner of living and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21; Romans 16:25-27)

GOD & JESUS CHRIST
We believe the Bible reveals only One eternally existing God who created all things and
by Who all things exist. This God has revealed Himself to humanity as Father (Creator),
in His Son (Savior), and by the Holy Spirit (Comforter), these attributes of God are
without division of nature, essence, or being. Jesus Christ is the expressed image of the
invisible God. The fullness of deity dwells in Jesus Christ bodily. To see Jesus is to see God.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-14; John 14:7-9; Colossians 2:9; Ephesians 4:4-6,
1 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 1:1-4)

SIN & SALVATION
Everybody has sinned and is in need of salvation. Salvation is received by grace
through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23-26, 6:23;
Ephesians 2:8-10; Galatains 2:16, John 1:11-13)

THE GOSPEL
We believe the Gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ’s life, death, burial, and
resurrection. It is the answer to sin and separation from God. We express our faith in
Jesus Christ and the Gospel by confessing Jesus Christ is Lord, repenting of sin,
water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin, and
receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues as
the Spirit gives us the ability. This expression of faith and obedience is the consistent
pattern of conversion in the early church. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; 1 Peter 4:17; Romans 10:9-
13; Mark 1:14-15; Luke 24:46-49; John 3:1-8; Matthew 28:17-20; Acts 2:37-42; Romans 6:1-7;

CHRISTIAN LIVING
As followers of Jesus Christ, we believe that devotion to the Lord is expressed in
all areas of our lives. We love God and love others. We live holy and blameless by
allowing the power of the Holy Spirit to produce His attributes in us. As a Spirit-
filled Church, we believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit that edifies,
equips, and unites the Church. (1 Thessalonians 5:23; John 13:35; 1 John 4:7-11;
Galatians 5:22-25; Ephesians 4:7-16; 1 Corinthians 12:1-14)
